My First Fruit Smoothie

Hi, my name is Elena Phillips and this is my first post.

 I wanted to start this blog because I'm very creative I thought it would be fun to make a  website. Also because  when you post it everyone can see it.



 I like doing things like playing tennis, soccer, baseball and most of all spending time with my family. Also helping with dogs.

Some of my favorite food is apples, shrimp, soup, bananas and plums.

I like smoothies because their fresh, delicious and fun to make. And you just get to have fun.

Ingredients:
  • One banana
  • 1/2 cup of frozen blueberries
  • handful of grapes
  • 1/4 cup of frozen raspberries
  • 1/2 cup of milk
  • 1/2 grapefruit, juiced
  • 1 tbsp plain Greek yogurt
  • 1/4 cup kale, chopped
  • a few ice cubes, optional

Add everything to a blender, and blend until nice and smooth. Strain with a knife against the blender when pouring to filter any chunks of fruit that did not blend.
